1. Who we are

Go Assist is a trading name of BIG Warranties Limited, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 798998). Our registered office is Unit 17, Branksome Business Park, Bourne Valley Road, Poole, BH12 1DW. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide through this website.

2. The data we collect

When you make an enquiry, request a quote or book work, we collect:

  • Your name and contact details (phone number, email address).
  • Your address and postcode, so we can confirm coverage and attend.
  • Details of the appliance, boiler, plumbing or electrical work you need.
  • Any information you choose to include in the message field.

We do not collect payment card details through website forms. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process limited technical data to confirm you are not a bot.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
  • To confirm availability for your address and arrange an appointment.
  • To carry out, guarantee and follow up on your repair, installation or service.
  • To keep records required for safety certificates and our legal obligations.
  • To contact you about your booking and, where you have agreed, relevant updates.

4. Our legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you submit an enquiry), our legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for, and to meet legal obligations such as gas and electrical safety record-keeping.

5. Sharing your data

We share your details only with the vetted engineers or approved repair partners attending your job, and with service providers who help us run the business (for example our booking and communications systems). We do not sell your data. Where the law requires, we may share data with regulators or authorities.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service, honour guarantees, and meet legal and regulatory requirements. After that it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Keeping your data secure

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and secure systems. Website forms are protected against spam and abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Cookies

This website uses essential cookies to function and may use analytics and marketing cookies with your consent. You can manage your preferences at any time through your browser settings.
